The goal of teacher training education is man-making. It is the overall development of personality. Teacher training education thus aims at the development of 3Hs-Hand, Head and Heart. We nurture an environment of excellence, innovation and continuous learning which inculcate motivation in students to explore new horizons. It is our endeavor to inculcate moral, cultural and spiritual values in our students. I am confident that Laxmi College of Education is on the verge of becoming a premier institution, amply fulfilling the educational aspirations of the future educators.

The College was established in the year 2013 under self-financing scheme, with an aim to achieve high ideals for future teachers. It is affiliated to Kumaun University, Nainital and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is run by Sushma Educational Society. The institute has already established its name and fame among the leading B. Ed. colleges of Uttarakhand, within a short span of time. The institute has a fully equipped computer lab with the state of art technology, Wi-Fi facility, a well-stocked library with e-journal subscription. Our faculty is on par with the rest of the counterparts and incorporates modern pedagogy, including student-driven learning concepts and technology, into everyday practices. The management and staff are always extending instinct support for the individual development of each student admitted in this campus. The institute envisions to develop as a centre of excellence in educational training, within the ambit of global changes and establish a firm foundation needed to shape tomorrow's future.
